ACCESSIBILITY

BALLOWLAND BALLROOM 2024

At Barrowland Ballroom, we prioritise equality for individuals with disabilities, striving to provide an exceptional experience for all attendees at our events. Accessible tickets can be reserved during the point of purchase process, and a dedicated accessible viewing platform is exclusively offered in the main Ballroom.

Manual wheelchair users have the option to access the Ballroom and Revue bars by using the Climber. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate electric wheelchairs, but we can help transfer the user to one of our wheelchairs for Climber use, if they find it suitable.

The climber is connected to the manual wheelchair, allowing the wheelchair user to ascend the stairs. To ensure safety, a trained staff member will accompany the wheelchair user throughout the entire journey up and down the stairs.

Our venue is equipped to welcome guide dogs for individuals with visual impairments, ensuring accessibility for all guests. Unfortunately, we do not have Hearing Loops available on the premises.

Situated on the first floor of the building, you can find the Revue Bar. To reach this area, there is a wheelchair climber available from the ground floor, which will be operated by a staff member. Additionally, our accessible toilets are conveniently located in this space for both male and female.

Barrowland Ballroom offers on-street parking and metered parking in the vicinity, with drop-off and pick-up zones conveniently located outside the entrance. Blue Badge parking can be found across from the venue, but availability is restricted due to limited spaces.
